The Mayor and City Council’s mission is to represent the citizens of Mesquite, make policy decisions, have fiscal responsibility and authority and adopt an annual budget, and to serve the best interest of all citizens of Mesquite.
Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske was elected to serve the citizens of Ward 4 and the city of Las Vegas in the November 2022 election. Francis is a lifelong Nevadan and a successful small business owner. She grew up in Reno, Nevada.
